Auto Salon 2011: Part 2 – The Real Reason Why People Came

Having a car expo void of any show girls means instant failure. Don’t quote me on that, but at least that’s what I think. This was definitely my highlight of the day as I got to take pictures and videos of random sexy ladies without the fear of being arrested.

Believe it or not, this was only half the fun. The other half was the sheer fascination of watching legions of middle-aged men taking pictures of these girls at point blank range with professional cameras.

You'd think he was a member of the paparazzi!

I would love to know what goes through these show girl’s minds as the men in front of them zoom right into their faces. It’s painfully embarrassing yet delightfully entertaining to see these pitiful men try to talk to these girls. At the end of the day though, this is probably one of the few chances they’ll get to talk with women, so fair play to them!

Two angels descended from car heaven

One of the only girls I managed to get a clear shot of!

eenie meenie miney mo...

Surely, they must get bored

She kinda looks worried if you look hard enough

She's giving the car a good cleaning with her bum

For all the moe fans out there!

I think I've found my woman!

They even had classy ladies

Really like her shoes actually...

A massive grin spread across my face when I noticed them

Busu kawaii?

This sight was mesmerizing in person

The more 'mature' ladies weren't forgotten either

Your typical cute J-pop girl band

Any guesses on what her tatoo stands for?

I’m guessing the tattoo stands for ‘Sun Protection Factor’, from her days as a sun cream saleswoman?

There are some great cars here! I want to see more itasha.

What sort of itasha events are there in Tokyo? I’m assuming most of them are unofficial.

    • Fran

I don’t think there are any itasha events. If there are, they would be underground ones. My guess is that they would be located in Odaiba.

    Beauties, all of them.
